Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the biggest agencies in Hollywood. This move presumably is a precursor to Ninja’s Hollywood aspirations. U.S. video game spending is projected to hit some big numbers this holiday season. Mat Piscatella from the NPD Group shares his projections, as well as provides key details as to why things are projected the way they are. “This surge in player count and engagement, combined with reduced spending in experiential gifting (such as travel, theme park and sport tickets, for example) should combine to result in more available holiday dollars for video game products and services.”
