We have some more new information on Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda, and what it could mean for other platforms. There has been significant speculation that Bethesda, now a Xbox first party studio, could make their games exclusive to Microsoft platforms. Xbox chief financial officer Tim Stuart says that isn’t something people need to worry about. “What we’ll do in the long run is we don’t have intentions of just pulling all of Bethesda content out of Sony or Nintendo or otherwise (sic).” Don’t worry gamers; Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Starfield aren’t going anywhere. In other Microsoft related news, Halo Infinite may finally have some good news to report. 343 Industries’ Community Director Brian Jarrard has stated that the developers are going to try and provide a “high level update” regarding Halo Infinite in the coming weeks. Jarrard also confirmed the game will not be making an appearance at next month’s Game Awards. Brendan Lowry at Windows Central has more.
