Long-time World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) executive Craig Tello has announced that he is leaving the company to join Electronic Arts (EA). Tello announced that he is leaving his position as senior VP of programming and media operations to join EA as its new head of marketing communications & content strategy within its competitive gaming division. EA currently operates, with the help of third-party tournament organizers, FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 competitions. James Fudge at The Esports Observer has more.
Esports Organization FunPlus Phoenix has rebranded. The organization, most known for its Chinese League of Legends squad, will now be known at FPX Esports. FPX Esports has stated in its announcement, the rebrand will apply to all teams and players under the organization’s umbrella regardless of the game they play or the region in which they are competing.
