Mediatonic has been acquired by Epic Games. The makers of one of last year’s biggest surprises, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, are going big. Players will still be able to play the game on the platforms they already own it on including Steam. The game will be making its way to more consoles later this year. Other FAQs are mostly about things like cross-play, cross-progression and the game possibly becoming free-to-play. The answers to those questions? They don’t really know yet. Speaking of Epic Games, they’re due in court. A date has been set for the trial between Epic Games and Apple. Yesterday, a management conference was held in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, in which judge Yvonne Gonzalez organized a bench trial between Epic Games and Apple. A date has now been officially set for May 3rd, which will require witnesses to travel to Northern California to appear at court in person. This one looks like it is going to go the distance.
