VENN was going to launch this fall, but will be moved up to July. Co-CEO Ben Kusin said, “This is an opportunity that’s born from chaos.” VENN dubs themselves the new MTV for games and gamers. Nintendo is halting all shipments of the Nintendo Switch. The company has not decided when it will be able to resume shipping consoles. Demand for the consoles has soared since the world went into lockdown, especially with kids home from schools. Nintendo manufactures the game consoles mainly in contracted factories in China. “Production continues to be restricted due to the virus outbreak,” a Nintendo official said.
