Nintendo Switch games do not have the sole purpose of entertaining gamers. They’re “partially designed to inspire the development community,” Christopher Dring at Games Industry reports. Ideally, titles available on the Switch should help show off the system’s abilities and entice third-party studios to make their games available on the platform. “Nintendo has attracted some limited third-party support for Nintendo Switch, with a handful of titles from EA, Square Enix, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft and Bethesda.”
Oculus is bundling the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers for $399 during its Summer of Rift event. While the official event ended July 5, Oculus announced Monday “that you will, for a limited period, be able to get the bundle of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers for $399 (USD), reduced from $598 (USD) – itself a total that was reduced by $200 from it’s release price back in March,” VRFocus’s Kevin Eva reports.
