Assassin’s Creed anime here we come! The wildly popular action-adventure franchise is getting its own anime produced by Adi Shankar. Shankar made the announcement early in the morning Wednesday in a Facebook post:
“I’m happy to let you guys know that I’ve selected my next project! … Absolutely no one in the industry and could never [sic] have imagined that one day Ubisoft would ask me to take the world of Assassin’s Creed and create an original story set in it as an anime series.”
We all played RuneScape once. Around since 2001, it still has a thriving community playing the medieval sandbox MMORPG. Venture Beat’s Jeff Grubb interviewed Jagex COO Phil Mansell about the game and company’s roots and where they both are today.
