PlayStation has released some big updates regarding the PS4/PS5. In a pair of blog posts, PlayStation has announced some things about accessory compatibility, as well as a new State of Play. The Dualshock 4 will work with the PS5 provided you are playing a supported PS4 title. The Dualshock 4 will not work with PS5 games. Things like PSVR and the PlayStation Camera will come over to the next generation with no problem. The new State of Play will be on August 6th at 4 pm ET. Temper your excitement, as the new show will mostly cover PS4 and PSVR titles. The only PS5 updates will be about third-party and indie games that were previously announced in June’s showcase.
A Beyond Good & Evil movie is coming to Netflix. Rob Letterman, who directed Detective Pikachu and Goosebumps, is on board to helm the hybrid live-action/animated feature. Jason Altman and Margaret Boykin are producing for Ubisoft Film & Television. There is no script yet, and the search for writers to adapt the 2003 cult classic is on the way. Ninja also announced the release of his second shoe in partnership with Adidas. The collection hits the market on August 8th.
