In partnership with HCS Grassroots, The Ultimate Gaming Championship has stepped up to the plate and will deliver the first LAN event supported by the program. HCS Grassroots will be supporting this event by providing the entire prize pool, promotion, content, and more.

The Twitch Rivals: StarCraft Streamer Showdown is an online competition for $25,000 featuring 16 teams comprised of streamers. The competition will be split between Europe and North America with each region vying for a total of $12,500. Each region's competition will consist of an 8 player Free-For-All, 4 pre-built showmatches, and a 10-game ladder race.
Teams that placed 5th - 32nd at CWL Las Vegas will descend on Columbus Ohio and battle it out for their chance to claim one of the 12 remaining spots for the 2019 CWL Pro League.
The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) gaming festival is coming to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from January 18 to 20. PAX South 2019 will include all of the usual PAX features such as exhibitor booths, panels, concerts, video game & tabletop gaming tournaments, and more!
