Overwatch League (OWL) doesn’t need no dang commissioner. Johanna Faries, current commissioner of the Call of Duty League (CDL), will take over administering OWL with a new role as Head of Leagues. Stream Hatchet has put out its Video Game Streaming Trends Report – Q3 2020. Some highlights include streaming being up 73% YOY, YouTube continuing to slowly close the gap with Twitch in the livestreaming segment, and League of Legends remaining at the top of the charts for total hours watched. The new esports organization that is making waves in the London stock market is Guild Esports. Guild Esports has completed its floatation on the London Stock Exchange, with a market capitalization of £41.2 million. The organization is the first esports org to be on the London Stock exchange. Corsair and Amuka Esports are partnering. The peripheral and hardware manufacturer will team up with the Canadian venue and tournament provider for a multi-event partnership. Corsair will become the exclusive peripherals and gaming chair partner of Waves Gaming, the flagship venue from Amuka Esports, which will also host a Corsair Gaming Zone.
