Bye bye Riot Sydney, and the Oceanic Pro League (OPL) along with it. In a statement Riot said, “Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of our teams and players, the OPL has not met our goals for the league, and we do not believe that the market is currently able to support the league in its current form.” The Riot Sydney office mainly focused on OPL league operations, and is also therefore being dissolved. Former OPL players will now be able to play in NA without taking up an import slot. The full statement can be found here.
