The Game Awards viewership more than doubled from last year, Engadget’s Jon Fingas reports. “Online viewership jumped 128 percent for the 2018 awards with 26.2 million total streams … The show nearly doubled its simultaneous Twitch streams to 1.13 million, while the YouTube crowd more than doubled to an unspecified amount.”
Since Artifact’s launch two weeks ago, its concurrent players have dropped from a peak of 60,000 to 11,200 as of yesterday, PC Gamer’s Fraser Brown reports.

7Sports and eSports.com are launching a “joint venture,” TEO’s Graham Ashton writes. “Each company will hold 50% interest in eSports GSA GmbH, and will co-manage a digital esports content platform for the German-speaking market.”
