In the case of Under Armour’s activation, Twitch viewers can vote for who they think should be MVP and enter to win prizes using the chat feature.”

Bethesda doanted $100,000 “to the ESA Foundation, a scholarship program run by the organisation behind annual games trade show E3,” GamesIndustry.biz’s James Batchelor writes. “Bethesda claims this is the largest donation since the foundation was established in 2007 and will directly fund 33 scholarships.”

NBA 2K League is getting its very own training center in the Sacramento Kings’ arena, Engadget’s Rob LeFebvre reports. “The idea is to have a ‘venue within a venue,’ with a training facility, broadcast center and gamer lounge in the same place where the Kings play pro basketball.”

Yahoo’s Blake Schuster reports that Monumental Sports & Entertainment CEO Ted Leonsis said “‘I think esports will be the largest participatory sport with the most active participants and the most dollars compared to any sport,’” during a talk about NBA 2K League and esports in general.

MAG Interactive finalized its IPO price, according to Batchelor. “The company offered 4.5m new shares while existing shareholders offered 6.8m, making for a total of 11.3m shares. The new shares alone will generate gross proceeds of roughly SEK 200m ($23.5m) and net proceeds of SEK 184m ($21.6m).”

Luminosity, eUnited, Team Kaliber and Enigma6 have been invited to Call of Duty’s The Northern Arena Showdown next weekend.
