The Esports Observer has released its PC Games Impact Index. The Index is for Q4 2019 and takes things like monthly active players, hours watched and number of tournaments into account when deciding their rankings. League of Legends takes the number one spot followed by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Big movers from the last rankings include big drops for Overwatch and Fortnite, and big rises from PUBG and Rocket League.
Recording artist Drake has signed a multiyear agreement to exclusively stream on Caffeine. The partnership was detailed in a press release from Caffeine — The platform will co-produce and live-stream rap battles in cooperation with rap battle platform Ultimate Rap League (URL). “…It’s exciting to be in a position where I’m able to bring Caffeine to the table and help provide URL with the tools they need to elevate the viewing experience and make it more accessible to fans,” Drake said in a statement.
Over the past two weekends the esports community has found the real value of Juked.gg. The number of tournaments and events running concurrently was daunting to any dedicated fan. Now, others have found the value of Juked too. Juked.gg announced an $800,000 pre-seed funding round led by 500 Startups in San Francisco.
