So, what in the heck happened at BlizzConline? To be honest. I was busy. Couldn’t watch. Lucky for us, there were tons of talented people who did and then wrote a whole summary for us! We got many of the things that were expected to come out of the event such as news on Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV. There were also a couple of surprises like the Blizzard Arcade Collection and The Burning Crusade Classic announcement. A third fighter is being dragged into the ring in the Apple vs. Epic lawsuit. Apple has subpoenaed Valve Software as part of their ongoing efforts to thwart Epic’s lawsuit. Apple is demanding Valve provide huge amounts of commercial data about Steam sales and operations going over multiple years. Why is Valve getting roped in? Well, their store platform Steam is a direct competitor to Epic’s Game Store. To answer the obvious question, no Valve is not thrilled with these developments.
