Nintendo held their corporate management policy briefing for the fiscal year ending March 2021 last night Japan time. Essentially, an end of fiscal year wrap meeting. The presentation had lots of interesting tidbits for future Nintendo plans. This includes the Mario movie, which is now 100% confirmed for the first time, that is scheduled to hit theaters in 2022. It also includes a DUN DUN DUNNNNN…new console…at some point. Okay, I may have over hyped that one. Along with all of this Nintendo also announced another Direct Mini for 3rd party partners for tomorrow at 10 AM ET.
For every Ninja, Shroud, or TimtheTatman there are hundreds if not thousands of smaller streamers that struggle to make it through the business of streaming. When big streamers sign million dollar contracts and take six figure sponsorship deals, where does that leave the smaller streamers that are looking at a couple hundred bucks for sponsorships? They don’t have huge management companies negotiating all of these things for them, and some of the ones that claim they do aren’t all that professional.
