The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S have both been completely, fully, whole heartedly, officially announced. Both consoles will launch on November 10th. The Series X will retail at $499 and the Series S will retail at $299. Full details regarding the specs of each console are included in the official announcement. In addition, EA Play has been added to the Xbox Games Pass. Subscribers will now get to add EA’s list of games to their libraries. The full announcement can be found here.
Nintendo celebrates 35 years of Mario with a direct that dropped last Thursday. The event came with the announcement of several new titles, including a new augmented reality Mario Kart called Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, a Super Mario Bros. battle royale and new content for Super Mario 3D World. The biggest announcement is clearly the game that had been rumored for months, Super Mario 3D All-Stars. The game is a collection of remastered 3D Mario titles including Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. I apologize in advance to everyone’s wallets who have been hurt in the making of this newsletter. The full direct can be found here.
