Twitch broke it’s record for concurrent viewers yesterday. The previous record of 3.99 million viewers was set back in August of 2018. With the help of the Valorant closed beta launch, Twitch crossed over the 4 million viewer threshold. Valorant also now holds the second highest concurrent viewer count for any game ever on the platform with 1.7 million viewers. Fortnite had been in 2nd, and League of Legends remained in first by a small margin. Tyler Esguerra at Dot Esports has the full story.

PlayStation introduced its next gen controller, the DualSense, to the world. The DualSense will take the place of the DualShock series of controllers. PlayStation changed the look of the controller pretty dramatically from its predecessors. The biggest highlights of features are haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and a new “create” button to replace the old share button.
Xbox hosted its Inside Xbox yesterday. The 45 minute long show contained details about new and upcoming games as well as some new information on the Xbox Series X and Xbox’s cloud service, Project XCloud. Ian Walker at Kotaku has a great roundup article.
