PewDiePie has signed an exclusive streaming agreement with YouTube. The long time YouTube star has more than 104 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. While streaming hasn’t been a focus of his content in the past, the creator says that “Live streaming is something I’m focusing a lot in 2020 and beyond, so to be able to partner with YouTube and be at the forefront of new product features is special and exciting for the future.” Gene Park at The Washington Post has the full story.
Rainbow 6 Esports is getting a massive overhaul. Say goodbye to the Rainbow Six Pro League, and say hello to the Rainbow Six Esports North American League. The Rainbow Six Esports North American League will feature two divisions, United States and Canada. This rework will also include the North American Challenger League as part of the game’s path to pro system. Each season will run for roughly a year. Seasons will consist of league play, multiple majors and culminate in a world championship event.
